hp notebook 15-ba026ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I just purchased a hp notebook 15-ba026ca product number W7C04UA. It's only got 4gb of ram to run windows 10 and whatever else. That's not enough. I'd like to upgrade it to 8gb at least if that's possible, but I've looked everywhere and I can't find an answer to whether it is or not. Hopefully someone here will be able to provide me an answer. Thanks in advance.

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

The Manual covers several models, some of which have DDR3 memory and some DDR4.

Memory module PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHz For use in models with AMD A8, A6, E2 processors ● 8-GB 693374-005 ● 4 GB 691740-005

You have an A6 processor so you use the above memory type...DDR3L and you can have up to 2 x 8 gig modules for a total of 16 gigs. The memory slots are designed to be accessed only by authorized service providers and you do risk the warranty by removing the back cover, but it is not terribly difficult. See page 46 for how-to.

Assuming you just want to add a second 4 gig module here is the product you would need:
