I have a HP laptop, which orinially uses 65w ac adapter. It is damaged now and I cant find a 65w adapter, but there are several 90w adapters available. Can I use 90w adapter? The output voltage is same 19.5V, but the current might differ.

For an accurate answer to that question, it would help to have the Product number (system SKU) of your laptop.

 

While logged into Windows, type MSINFO into the search box and then click on the system info app icon that appears above.

 

Now look in the list and find the system SKU and post that in your next reply in our thread.
