You're very welcome.

The parts you need to add a 2.5" drive can be found in chapter 3 of the service manual on page 21.

The part you need is:

Hard drive hardware kit   HP part # 808238-001, which includes:
(3) Bracket
(4) Connector

I see the kits listed for sale on eBay.

Hi:

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that only SATA M.2 SSD's are supported, not NVme.

HP ENVY x360 m6 ConvertibleModel numbers: m6-w000 – m6-w099Model numbers: m6-w100 – m6-w199HP ENVY x...

You could replace the existing 256 GB SATA M.2 SSD with one having a larger storage capacity.

The Western Digital Blue SATA M.2 SSD's would provide the best performance for the price, in my opinion.

Thank you for your feedback.  The laptop has a 256 GB SSD and I am running out of disk space.  I’d like to add  a 1TB  2.5 Inch SATA SSD in the available bay in this laptop.  I am having trouble finding a connection cable that connects the additional SSD drive to the motherboard.

Any idea where I can find one and what part number that would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
