HP Spectre x360 15-ap012dx (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had this laptop since 2016 and the only issue I have had is with the charger/charging port. I replaced my first charger in 2018 (2 years of usage), which was covered under warranty. Now I am experiencing the same issue with the newer charger after another two years. It is not under warranty anymore and therefore I was looking into different charging options, possibly the USB type C port. Can I use that port to charge my device?

@patelku9047 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to charge the laptop using USB type C.

I have checked the manual ( page number 10)

USB Type-C port Connects any USB device with a Type-C connector.

Unfortunately, It is not possible to charge the laptop using USB type C.
