Hi
I want to upgrade my laptop to WD Blue 3D NAND 1TB Internal SSD - SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5"/7mm Solid State Drive - WDS100T2B0A, but I don’t know if it will work or not?

Hi:
Yes, you can replace the 1 TB mechanical hard drive with that model drive.
It is probably the best one out there performance/price wise.
You should be able to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
