Reading online it says that I need either a lighting usb-c "thunderbolt3/4" or it says I can make a connection if it supports PCIe. I do know that laptop does not have a thunderbolt usb-c, so can I run a eGPU on this  (hp16 a0032dx) pavilion gaming laptop? If I can how do I get the fast data transfer I need not having a thunderbolt 3/4?

According to chapter 1 of the service manual, the notebook does not come with a USB-C/Thunderbolt port, so you cannot use an eGPU for your notebook.

The Wi-Fi card and SSD M.2 PCIe slots can only support those devices, not an eGPU.
