I have an older HP Envy x360 and have a newer Dell docking station with 2 monitors that I use for work. The docking station connects to the Dell laptop via USB-c, which I don't have on my HP. How can I connect my HP laptop to the docking station so that I can use the monitors?

By the way, the Dell docking station is a WD19TBS with a USB-C connection, and my laptop has no USB-C port. I thought as a second option I would use an adapter to connect one of the monitors to my HP laptop to at least get one monitor connected ( I looked and the HDMI adapter is a different shape then the HDMI port on my laptop). Any ideas of what I could get to work?

What are they ? HP has hundreds of Envy models/products and Dell probably has a dozen of USB-C dockking stations
Regards.

That is NOT simple. I need to know EXACTLY what is your HP computer and what is the Dell dock.
