HP Notebook - 15-da0596sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Notebook 15-da0596sa with a 1tb HD and a 16 GB PCIe® NVMe™ Intel® Optane™ Memory accelerator.

Can I replace this Intel Optane Memory with with an M.2 NVMe SSD and boot off of it? Thanks

The answer to your question is yes. The Optane 16 gb module can be deactivated and removed and you can install a PCIE/NVME M.2 SSD in the M.2 slot and set it as the boot disk so that the OS is running from it. Post back if you wish more details.
