Envy X360 AMD Ryzen 5 5JR83AV_1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As I read through the forum, I am not clear on this. Can I add 8 Gb of RAM later on to the Envy X360? It comes with 8 Gb on-board, which is fine for now, but I would like to have the option to add 8 Gb later. To have it done prior to shipping adds $150 to the cost, which seems excessive for 8 Gb extra RAM.

Thanks!

Thank you, I appreciate the response, although it is making me re-think my purchase.  For now, 8 GB of RAM is fine, but I would like to think I can use this laptop for a while.  8 GB of RAM may be barely useable in five years.  Any idea why upgrading from 8 GB to 16 GB is so expensive?  $150 for 8 GB of RAM is insane!  If it had been a more appropriate $75, I would have likely gone for it.

Thanks again!
