The answer for an OMEN By HP 875-1000 Obelisk Desktop PC (5MU99AV) as per: UserBenchmark: HP OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-1xxx Compatible Components, would be a resounding YES, such as this User example: HP OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-1xxx Performance Results - UserBenchmark.

 

But why stop at an RTX 3070 when apparently you can also fit an RTX 3080 -and even an RTX 3080 Ti?

 

This is based on the "Shire motherboard SSID: 8509" as referenced here: OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop PC - 875-1000nc Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support.
