Just picked up an HP 15-db1003ca. Great little machine, love the hard drive size. Unfortunately the memory capacity is not quite up to snuff at 8GB with the software I want to run. Thought that would be enough.
This laptop doesn't have any access panels on the bottom. Unable to verify exactly what kind of memory it holds, other than Hynix 2400.
CAN this laptop memory be upgraded? Can the video memory be upgraded? Would be nice so I don't have to return it. Appreciate any help please. Thank you.

Hi, @Rocky556
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1, and the removal and replacement procedure in chapter 6.

I recommend you get compatible memory from Crucial.
Crucial indicates you can install 2 x 16 GB of memory in models with the Ryzen processors.
You cannot upgrade the graphics memory, processor or graphics without replacing the motherboard.

When I run the report for the 15-db1003ca, it shows 32 GB but no list of compatible memory.
The 15-db1000au also has the Ryzen processor, so whatever memory is recommended for that one would also work on yours.
