If we look on page 3 of the service manual for your product we see that the PC only supports M2 SATAIII SSDs

So this one is a solution but it's the same speed as the SSD I originally suggested

Yes the M.2 slot only supports SATA type M.2 not NVME and a SATA M.2 operates at the same speed as a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. Same hardware in a different package.
