My original battery was dead so i bought local compatible battery but it gives me less backup then original so my question is that can i use laptop without battery when i am on home does it affect component or not i have genuine HP adapter which i will use

Hi,

 

Yes you can use the PC without the battery without any problems. I have a computer here I have been using for years without the battery.
