Hi,
It is not possible to upgrade the CPU as it is integrated on the motherboard (soldered). You would need to replace the whole motherboard to upgrade the CPU and max would be an i7 5500U with a compatible motherboard.
You can upgrade the hard drive to a larger capacity 2.5" HDD (max will be a 2TB because of thickness of drive)
Example:
You could also opt for a 2.5" SSD which would give a good boost to the everyday performance of the PC.
Example:
On page 59 of the service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:

You can also upgrade the RAM to max 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM (2x8GB).
Hope it helps,
David

Hi,
Your laptop comes with an ultra low cpu (Intel core i3-4010u) soldered on the motherboard. These types of processors can't be upgraded. You can't also upgrade a processor to a different architecture. The core i3-4010 comes from the Haswell architecture and the core i3-8100 comes from the Kaby/Coffee Lake one.
The hard drive upgrade is still possible but if you need some more computing power I'd consider a new laptop.
