I can't get Pavilion 15-eg0000 specs but from the following information

         https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-pavilion-laptop-15t-eg000-touch-optional-9yf35av-1

it has  1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port you can charge your machine using USB-C charger with 65W or higher.

I tested on an HP Envy machine using USB-C Gen 5 dock and I can get TRUE single cable solution. I'm using the dock on my HP Elitebook 840 G5 now and very happy with the outcome (multiple monitors, no need to open the lid to power my machine, shutdown machine will also shutdown the dock .... )
