Hi:

 

HP retired support for that model series since it is over 10 years old.

 

This reputable 3rd party driver website has the last BIOS update HP released for your notebook (F.49).

 

HP Pavilion dv7-1245dx BIOS (driverscollection.com)

 

I do not recommend trying to install this BIOS unless you are running a supported operating system such as Windows Vista or Windows 7.

 

If you have upgraded the PC to W10, I have no idea what the results will be if you try to update the BIOS.

 

It may work fine, or it may completely wreck your notebook, with no do-overs.
