Hi:

 

Yes, you can replace your notebook's 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

 

It will make a big difference in performance.

 

For example:  Here is the link to the Crucial memory/SSD report for your model notebook.

 

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hP---Compaq/pavilion-15-ab219tx

 

They offer various capacity SSD's for sale.

 

The MX models have faster read/write speeds than the BX models do.
