Very helpful video:

This shows removing the access cover and the bays with the 2 hard drive spaces. If you have a hard drive now you want to move it to the secondary bay, on the left in the video and put the SSD in place of the hard drive in the primary bay on the right.

The SSD you ask about will be fine. We are happy to discuss getting Windows onto the SSD instead of the hard drive.

Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the answer you needed.

I wanna use SSD just for OS and hdd for files and other stuff

That can be done several ways. I prefer clean installing Windows onto the SSD using an installer from the Media Creation Tool site. Do you have specific questions about that.

Thats what i thought but thnx anyway

So i need to put my SSD to primary place and HDD to secondary place ?

HP Recommended

Yes I was under the impression we made that clear. Where are you in the process?

HP Recommended

Well im installing win10 from Installation Media to perform clean installation of win10 for ssd.I will open my laptop and put my SSD to primary bay and HDD to 2nd bay

It is easier to have just the SSD in the primary bay when you are installing Windows. Then put the HDD in the second bay after you get Windows working the way you want.
