Hello! I have a notebook 15-ac653u with an 80c2 motherboard. I want to upgrade RAM. Can i do it? is there a slot for one more memory bar?

The product number you posted indicates your notebook is a 15-AC123TX.

If it has an Intel core processor, you can install 2 x 8 GB of memory.

Do you mean to say that  I can upgrade my notebook to dual-channel RAM   from single channel ram to double up my speed?

Yes, the memory will run faster but I don't think twice as fast.
