Hi,

It will not affect the battery. Yes, you can install the P1 in the notebook of your desired capacity (no limit), You can see that Crucial also offers it as compatible:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-15-da0327tu/CT14018613

On page 47 of the service manual, you can see the steps to install the drive

You will need to install the OS on the SSD. It will give a great performance gain in everyday use to the PC.

Hope it helps,

David

Yes your laptop will accept such an upgrade. Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

Start on p. 38 to remove the bottom cover and inside you see this:

I am sure the Crucial is a good product but my own preference is for the Samsung 970 Evo or Evo Plus M.2 NVME product.

Sata ssd has 2 gaps in middle and pcie m.2 has one mean to say that the coonectir ends of sata m.2 and pcie m.2 are different so how will pcie ssd will be installed at m.2 port ? I went to hp patner to buy laptop there tgey say they can upgrade m.2 sata ssd in hp hp da0327tu laptop and if i want pcie ssd in that laptop they will remove hard drive first and then they'll be installing pcie ssd in that slot  main question i want to know is that can i upgrade pcie ssd in m.2 slot without removing hard drive in HP da 0327 tu laptop and which ssd 256 or 500 gb is compaltible with this model?

Don't worry about the notches in the SSD. M.2 is M.2 and either SATA or PCIE/NVME will fit into the slot it's a question of what works with your motherboard. In your case either kind (2 gap or one) will work.

Look at the picture. There is a place for a hard drive and a place for an M.2 SSD and you most definitely can have both. I can't speak for the competence of the techs you have spoken to.
