My i need som fast booting on my pc and it is clean with no program without the normal pc programs i use.

i feel like my cpu is running to hot and a new cpu can be the best opption for that..

I am thinking of upgrading because of the type of work i am currently doing and need some more cpu power insted of my core i5-8250u cpu

Yes, you can, but plan on probably paying more for the motherboard alone than you did for the PC, assuming you could find the part, and I would have no idea where you could find one.

Chapter 3 has the list of supported motherboards with their HP part numbers.

 

This would be the one with the best processor...

 

L01042-601   Part is not orderable in the HP Parts Store.

Hi:

 

The processor is not upgradable since it is soldered to the motherboard.

 

It has been that way for years.

 

I think the last Intel notebook models you could upgrade the processor on would be a couple with certain Intel 4th gen processors, and then most 3rd gen or older processors could be upgraded.
