Here is the Manual:
The processor is socketed and removable and the motherboard will work with up to an A8-3520M quad. These processors cost very little now because they are obsolete. If you can do the labor yourself this makes sense for a few dollar investment. It will improve the performance a little but it will still be underpowered by today's standards. You can use the same cooling system so this would be a drop-in plug and play upgrade.
