I got the RAM you suggested and tried to install it but my screen is black and I hear any noise from the system but the internet button is lid up. Can you help me?

I have purchased two different types of ram for this model laptop. The First was Samsung. When press the power button i get a black screen with the wifi light on. I placed the original ram back in and the laptop powered up. I found this post last week and ordered the exact ram as you have included in the post, i am still having the same results. What may i be doing wrong? These return fees are adding up.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
  • Have you tried with different ram or old ram? 
  • Are you getting any error message or log?
