HP Notebook - 14-cm0503sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have run a PC Health Check for compatibility with a Windows 11 upgrade. It looks as though my CPU isn't supported for W11, so i am wondering if it possible to upgrade the CPU or if i have to settle for W10?

Thanks!

Hi:

The processor your notebook has is an integral part of the motherboard.

The only way to upgrade the processor would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

It would probably be less expensive to buy a new notebook that fully supports W11 than to replace the motherboard in yours.

If you want to upgrade to W11 on your notebook as it is, you can see this discussion at the link below where I provided the instructions to do that.
