Hello folks,

I have Hp 15q-bu0xx (15q-bu013TU) model.

Intel core i3 6th generation.

Hi:

If your notebook has a M.2 slot, the slot only supports SATA M.2 SSD's not NVMe.

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

This would be the type of M.2 drive you would use if your notebook has a M.2 slot.

Amazon.in: Buy Western Digital WD Blue m.2 SATA SSD, 550MB/s R, 525MB/s W, 5 Y Warranty, 250GB Onlin...

You may want to also look into the 500 GB model, which is only 1,000 Rs more.

Check to make sure your notebook has a M.2 slot before buying a M.2 SSD.

If you look at chapter 3, page 19 of the service manual, additional parts are used to add a M.2 SSD, so those parts may not be there since your notebook did not come with a M.2 SSD.

(21) Solid-state drive bracket   924981-001

If your notebook does not have a M.2 slot, I suggest that you replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD, because your notebook will perform much better with a SSD.
