There are many caddies around, only 1 note you have to remember: thickness is 9mm, thicker tham that won't fit.

For cloning software, please try

Yes you can BUT you won't be able to boot from the ODD bay. Now what you can do:

1. Buy new SSD, can be 2TB from popular brands,

2. Buy caddy to convert ODD bay to HDD drive,

3. Clone HDD to SSD,

4. Swap HDD out and put SDD in to the HDD bay,

5. Put old HDD to the caddy and use it as secondary storage.

Note: ODD = Optical Disc Drive (or CD/DVD drive).

Regards.

Can you please link the hardware I would need for the conversion as well as instruction on cloning? I’m fairly new to this. 🙂
