That model should work just fine.

 

Is there a specific reason why you chose that model?

 

The Crucial MX500 500 GB provides better sequential read/write performance, and the Sandisk SSD Ultra 500 GB (my preferred SATA SSD) provides the best performance for the price.

On some computer component prices, NewEgg is better, and on some Amazon is better.

 

Best to check both sites for whatever you are looking for to see who has the best price.
