Thank you for posting on HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. I see from your post that you need information and assistance related to your HP notebook. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.
After reviewing your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your PC and here are few findings:
Microprocessor
Intel® Core™ i5-7200U (2.5 GHz base frequency, up to 3.1 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 3 MB cache, 2 cores)
Memory, standard
8 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB)
Hard drive
- 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA
Here's the Maintenance and Service guide of your notebook:
It can support dual disk (HDD and SSD):
Dual storage conƭgurations (not available on computer models equipped with an Intel Pentium processor😞
1-TB, 5400-rpm, 7.2-mm hard drive with 128-GB M.2 SATA-3 solid-state drive
500-GB, 5400-rpm, 7.0-mm hard drive with 128-GB M.2 SATA-3 solid-state drive
2. The maximum ram it can take : Two SODIMM memory module slots, available but it's non-customer- accessible/non upgradable.
However, it supports up to 16-GB of system memory
3 it can take active pen: Yes, it does support Active pen stylus: Part number: 910942-001

That said, you can always get a passive stylus as it works on any touchscreen device regardless of its brand or model,
I hope I have tried to answer all your questions. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
