Can the notebook / laptop connect to cellular with its existing hardware?

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook.

 

HP Laptop 15-dw1402no Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

 

Next to the Wireless Connectivity section, there is only a standard dual band AC Wi-Fi adapter listed.

 

Your notebook has no WWAN (mobile broadband) hardware installed, so it would not be able to connect to a cellular network.

 

I don't know of many, if any HP consumer class notebooks that offer that feature.

 

You normally have to purchase a business class notebook that comes configured with both Wi-Fi and mobile broadband (WWAN) adapters.
