Hi, I want to ask whether am I able to use my laptop with power cable only after I remove my battery(built in) from my laptop?

It will work but when it has an internal battery that means the internal battery also acts as the real time clock battery which keeps system time. So if you remove AC power you will reset to default time and lose BIOS settings. So unless you want to leave the laptop on 24/7 I recommend getting a new battery.

Laptops with click in type battery has a second little battery soldered onto or otherwise connected to the motherboard. Looks like a hearing aid battery. Laptops with internal batteries generally do not have that second battery.
