HP Recommended
I can not use an external monitor using ubuntu 22.04.
If i install windows on the notebook and install drivers, i can use external monitor.
But on ubuntu, i can't.
Tried different alternatives like using xorg, lightdm, wayland. disabled/enabled nvidia ms550. But i can't.
Can you please help me ?

I assume the laptop display is Intel and the NVidia is external (or vice-versa)
You may need NVidia prime as discussed here
