Hey guys I have a 17” hp envy x360
model# = m6-aq105dx
s/n = 8cg7080nqr
One side of the screen broke off the hinge so I want to replace just that back cover because the screen is working fine. I was able to locate the part number (856799-001) behind the screen. The problem I’m having is, no matter how much I search using any of the credentials I can’t seem to find a 17” cover. Only the 15.6” shows up. Turns out I can’t even find a 17” hp envy x360 laptop anywhere online. I thought I was crazy so I measured the screen and sure enough it’s 17” diagonal. Maybe it’s me but if anyone can please help me find a replacement cover I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for your help. I’m going to message the seller just in case because when I search for the other product numbers from description that are compatible, it appears to be 15.6” models (ENVY X360 M6-AQ 15AQ)
When I use the hp part searcher using the model number, it doesn’t even show the 17” display as an option. Do you happen to know why? Thanks again for your time!

Ahh, I did not check the manual, the lcd's listed are 15.6" screens. When you measured, did you go from corner to corner of the actual screen? Be sure to double check the model number just in case it's a number off.

Unfortunately, you are mistaken. If you have identified your notebook correctly with the product name and product number, your notebook does not have a 17" screen. It measures 15.6" diagonally. Measure the display diagonally inside the bezel, not from the outside. That is probably where you are making the mistake.

The diagonal measurement of a notebook display is taken excluding the black border(bezel).
