My laptop battery is dead for a ling time. So, I'm using my laptop without the battery(I removed it). Then, whenever I tries to boot my system it shows "CMOS CHECK SUM INVALID".
I thought replacing the CMOS battery will solve this issue. But I could not find any CMOS battery on my motherboard.

Hi:
Most notebooks (yours included) with internal batteries do not have CMOS/RTC (Real Time Clock) batteries.
The main battery serves as the CMOS/RTC battery that maintains the BIOS and system time and date settings.
If you look at chapter 3 of the maintenance and service guide on your notebook's user guides page, you will not find any part listed for a CMOS/RTC battery, and in chapter 6, you will find no procedure to remove a CMOS/RTC battery.

If you don't want to go through the ritual of clearing that error every time you start the PC, you will need to install a new compatible battery.
