When i went to Hardware diagnostics it told me i have not up to date UEFI hardware diagonostics so i tried through web HP
they found my pc but i cant select he version of windows i hvae when i select windows 11it only shows 21H2 ( i have 24H2). so i selected the best and downloaded it and it still showed that it is not up to date.

Try these steps:

Identify the Correct Version:

  • Ensure you are selecting the correct version of Windows 11 from HP's website. If Windows 11 24H2 is your current version, you should still be able to download diagnostics applicable for Windows 11 even if it shows 21H2.

Use the HP Support Assistant:

  • Pre-installed Software: HP Support Assistant comes pre-installed on your HP PC. Open HP Support Assistant by clicking Start > All Programs > HP > HP Support Assistant.
  • Check for Updates: Navigate to the Maintenance section within the HP Support Assistant. Click Update to check for the latest updates from HP servers, and ensure the box next to each update is selected before applying the downloads.
  • Improvement: If HP Support Assistant does not resolve your issue, you might need to download the latest version manually or update HP Support Assistant itself by following How to download, install, and use HP Support Assistant.

Download Directly from the HP Website:

  • Access the Downloads Page: Visit HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.
  • Identify Your Product: Enter your serial number or product name. For example, type in Pavilion Gaming 15-dk10000.
  • Operating System: Choose Windows 11 (even if it indicates 21H2). This should be compatible with newer versions as well.
  • UEFI Diagnostics: Look for BIOS updates or UEFI hardware diagnostics tools specifically listed. Download and install them following the prompts.
