My laptop got a small dent right on the beveled edge and now the power button physically won’t press. The power button still glows and my computer can still charge, it’s just the small dent preventing me from pressing the ON button and actually turning it on. I went to go get it fixed, and they said that the HP Spectre x360 frame would need to be replaced and is virtually unfixable. I even unscrewed the back and attempted to press back out the button. There any way I can get it fixed or the frame replaced by HP? How much would this cost? The rest of the laptop is in pristine condition and everything is technically working electronically.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
HP can repair and replace defective parts even if a product is out of warranty. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
