Hi,

The screen on my HP 255 G7 recently broke, and since I can’t get it repaired anywhere at the moment, I’ve bought a screen to repair it myself.

The problem is I can’t get the bezel off. In YouTube videos of similar laptops, the bezel comes off easily by just prying it off, but on this specific model the bezel is underneath the laptop’s hinge and so can’t just be pulled off. (Image attached)

This is my first time doing any sort of DIY fix on a laptop, and so I don’t want to damage the thing and end up spending more money. How exactly do I get this thing off?

Thanks,

Shaun.
