HP Recommended

I've read that someone solved same problem connecting the ssd to a different (and fastest) port in the motherboard. That enabled Ahci mode.

Is that something I could do? I should have a 'Mobile Intel 945GSE Express Chipset', but don't know how many ports has, and to which is currently connected. How to check?
