@Sam_0,

Thanks for your patience! I’m glad to hear that the ">" symbol is working now with Shift + Fn + L.

As for the | symbol, on the Swedish keyboard layout, it is typically located by pressing AltGr + < (on the < key). So, you can try using AltGr + < to type the pipe symbol (|).

If that still doesn’t work, let's confirm that the keyboard layout is correct:

  1. Go to Settings → Time & Language → Language & Region → Swedish keyboard layout, just to make sure everything is set properly.
  2. Alternatively, you can test the keyboard layout in the On-Screen Keyboard to check for any discrepancies.

Let me know if that works, and feel free to ask if you have any other questions!

We hope our assistance has been helpful!

Take care and have an amazing day!

Hi @Sam_0,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The elusive ">" symbol is playing hard to get, huh? 😆 No worries, we’ll track it down!

Since "<" appears with Alt + L, its counterpart ">" should pop up with Shift + Alt + L or AltGr + L. Give those a try and see if it finally cooperates!

If it’s still being stubborn, let’s check your keyboard settings:
Go to SettingsTime & LanguageLanguage & regionSwedish keyboard layout, just to make sure it’s set up correctly.

Let me know how it goes!

Sorry i said wrong before Fn + L gives <, i found the combination for writing > it is Shift + Fn + L and it only works in that exact order Fn + Shift + L doesn't work. The order was the reason for the confusion.

Furthermore, I can't find the combination for the "|" symbol either. That one i also located on the L key.

Thank you.
