I am trying to upgrade my hp 250 g4 notebook ram which has already a 4gb ram stick
I wanted to add another 4gb stick in the second slot on the laptop but it doesn't recognize the new stick like it isn't mounted in the laptop
When I tried to with only the new stick the notebook refused to boot
I used different ram sticks from different companies ( Samsung, crucial, team group...) and all with the same specs (Ddr3, 4gb, 1600 mhz...) but didn't change anything and I'm sure that all the ram sticks that I used are working properly
For some reason the laptop only accepts the original ram stick and refuses to even reconize the others
I even updated the bios but it didn't help at all
Any solution?
