Hello all, I am having issues with using my touchpad and keyboard at the same time. Ideally I'd like to be able to use my laptop to run some games, however they require me to move my mouse while pressing keys on the keyboard. Whenever I hold down on a key, the cursor freezes and does not move.
I checked the internet and the results I found were two options: First, go into my settings>touchpad and click the dropdown for sensitivity and select Most Sensitive. I did this, nothing happened.
The next option said to go into my Synaptic Clickpad settings>pointing and adjust the Palmcheck slider to 0. I did this, and got the cursor to move around for about a second while holding a key, then it freezes up again.
Please share any advice you might have, but do not suggest the above techniques as I have tried them already with no success. Thank you!

This I bet is not the answer you are looking for but...
Just buy a wireless mouse. Most games have you, Hold down left click and move the mouse to look around.. I always find this Really hard to do on the touchpad.
Sorry it's a fix Or what you want to hear..

Yeah I have a wireless mouse and I can just use that when I'm at home, but sometimes I'm out and about and sometimes I want to play games in class (ooh such a bad student) and find it hard to justify having a mouse in a classroom setting for any other purpose than trying to play games. I get where you're coming from, it's a simple solution, but I'm still trying to find a way to make this work as there should be an option, it seems like a fairly simple fix, in my opinion. Then again I'm no computer expert otherwise I wouldn't be here.
