Product: 15-BW011DX

Can the 15-BW011DX memory be expanded beyond the 4 gb even if you have to remove the back cover.  I am willing to open up the computer to added memeroy if it has the extra memroy slots.  If it can support more memory; how much can it support.

Hi,

 

Your PC supports max 8GB of DDR4-1866Mhz RAM

 

It has one slot, so you would need to replace the 4GB which is in the system at the moment. On page 48 of service manual you can see the various steps to replace the RAM module:

I believe this model laptop which I have has 2 ram memory slots and supports up to 16 GB of ram.

Actually the ram can be upgraded to 16 GB, not 8.
