For clarity, this model is the one with these specs: AMD Ryzen 7 4700U Processor, RAM: 16 GB / Storage: 512 GB SSD, etc...
While it does come with a propriety charger, it also has a usb-c port.
I've read conflicting reviews - so wondered whether any recent purchasers have had any success with charging it via the USB-C port?
This question is probably applicable to any of the new Ryzen 4000 series versions of the 2020 Envy line up, and possibly the Intel versions too.
It would be very helpful if someone has any idea as charging with USB-C is very convenient.

Yes. I tested on an HP Envy x360 with same
- 65W charger
- SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port
using USB-C Gen 5 and they are perfect match.
Regards.
