HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0004tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0004tx with a HDMI and 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 ports. I have tried the following hub and adapter cable without success.

https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07X25ZR56/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B01K7C53K2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So is it that the available USB C ports do not have the ability to output video or have I been trying incompatible adapters?

Thanks for any help in this matter.

Its specs

             https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06209789

It has 2 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 ports that is very strange because many machines on the same series have USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 with Thunderbolt™ Gen 3 technology (1 or 2, varying by computer model - which is the killer).

Therefore from the specs of your machine, 2 Gen1 Type C  ports do not support video out.

Well, If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)
