Is it possible to upgrade the RAM in HP Envy 13-Ah0001 Laptop? How many slots are there in its mother board?

Hey there! @sarathyk,  Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you would like to know if you can upgrade the memory on your PC.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

I have checked the specifications of your laptop and you cannot upgrade the memory on the laptop as the memory is embedded into the system board.

If you have to upgrade the memory on your laptop, you have to replace the whole system board. Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable.

Refer the laptop user guide to know more information about memory.  Click Here

Note: Refer page 16 for more information.

Refer the product specifications page for more information. Click Here

Hope this answers your query!

Hi Mr, Robot,

How is possible I bought a computer (for no hard work) thinking 4GB RAM would be enough but then realize more than a half of the memory will be consumed by background tasks!!! Just unbelivable!!! But worst, if I'd like to increase it, I need to change whole system board? GOD!!!! I mean how much it will cost and where to find it?

Please advise a good solution for this!!!

Thanks.
