You're very welcome.
Yes, you can do that, or use a SD card for storage in the available SD card slot.
Things you can do to increase space on the 64 GB drive...
1. Run the Windows disk cleanup utility at least monthly.
When the utility arrives at the first window, click on the Cleanup system files button on the lower left side of the program window.
The utility will run again and when the window shows up the second time, check all of the boxes to delete the unnecessary files.
You may find that you can free up a few gigabytes of drive space.
2. I use this free disk utility that is easy to use and gets rid of unnecessary files that the Windows disk cleanup utility doesn't.

Hi, Mary:
Do you know what model number your notebook has from the list at the link below?
What model Intel processor does it have?
Does it have a M.2 solid state drive or a 2.5" mechanical hard drive?

Thanks for the info.
Based on the information you have provided, your notebook has a 64 GB eMMC flash storage drive.
Unfortunately you can't upgrade the internal storage when your notebook has one of those drives.
