Just got my kid an hp 14-dq6013dx and he was very happy til he realized it only has 128 gb of storage. Any way to upgrade internally? Hoping to find out before we crack her open… Thanks!

Your notebook came with a 128 GB UFS storage drive which is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

 

The service manual (on page 1) indicates that 14-dq6xxx models don't support other internal storage (2.5" SATA drives or M.2 SSDs).

If your notebook has an SD card reader, you can possibly keep an SD card of a large capacity in the card reader slot for data storage.
