Hi:

 

Only SATA M.2 SSD's are supported in the 250 G6 model series, not NVMe.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types:

 

HP 250 G6 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

It appears that your notebook came with a 256 GB M.2 SATA SSD, so if you need more storage, you can replace the drive with one having a greater storage capacity.
