Product: Pavilion X360 CONVERTIBLE
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can you charge the HP Pavilion laptop through the USB-C port? I have just purchased a Wavlink USB Docking station.  This actually connects through a USB 3.0 port but could also connect via the USB-C.  So thought if this is the case it could also charge it if the USB-C port allows this to happen?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

To get the answer to this question, the USB port does not support laptop charging. It supports high-speed file and data transfer.

You need to use an AC adapter to charge the laptop battery.
