Working with a customer remotely to help them boot their pc from a usb and they have given me some information on their computer,
When I asked for model number they sent:
"67320wcyh:66732"
Can't find any info on this, and customer is being quite limited as he is elderly and not good with PCs, so I wanted to see if anyone knows what this number they sent me even is or refers to.
Best!!

Hi:
The model of the PC cannot be identified from the info you were provided.
If the notebook was made in the last 10 years, you boot from a USB flash drive as follows:
Have the flash drive in a USB port.
Turn on or restart the PC.
Immediately press/tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.
Select the F9 boot options menu and from that select the USB flash drive and press the Enter key.
The device may be listed as a USB diskette on key/USB hard drive.
If the person does not see any flash drive listed in the F9 boot options, menu, then they will have to disable secure boot and if they have way to access the internet, you can send them this link.

If the notebook is more than 10 years old, then simply turning on the PC and pressing the F9 key should bring up the boot options menu.

Sorry yes, may not, probably not.
I once had an old HP nc6400 business-class notebook from 2006 that did not boot from a USB flash drive, even though the device was listed as a bootable device in the boot options menu.
Had the latest BIOS update as well.
It was just my specific notebook. Other forum members couldn't boot from it either.
There were other posts on this forum where folks had old notebooks and they would not boot from a USB flash drive.
Back in those days most of them could only boot from floppy disk drives and DVD/CD drives.
