My laptop CPU goes upto 90° whenever I play a game on it. I intent to replace the thermal paste for its GPU and CPU. However when I saw a picture of the motherboard, I was confused wether if its even possible to re-apply thermal paste on it.

There is a teardown of the 450 G4 here and it is not an easy job.

To mitigate the heat problem you should use a laptop cooler.

I really recommend the cooler instead of re-working the motherboard.

Make sure the battery is fully charged before starting a game. Your laptop can overheat if it has to charge the battery at the same time as playing a game. Avoid any intensive games if not plugged in.

Would yuo still recommend if I asked some tech guy from a shop, as I have been using this laptop for over 3 years now and I haven't given it a clean from the inside. So I think generally cleaning it's fan and the interior should help it from casually overheating.
